My post on One Man's Style

Check out my post on One Man's Style, a fabulous imagery blog defining great men's style four pictures at a time, definitely bookmark worthy! Thanks to Andy for the chance to contribute and also being the first ever guest blogger! I'm honored to be a part of a great blog!

things cost more than they seem...

Not only my favorite song off an amazing record, but a video making a point. WATCH all the way through... Think about this next time you're debating on that extra $5 to know where your product came from... stop buying gray market products. Work an extra hour or do some research, instead of playing fucking Madden for three hours a night and become a knowledgeable consumer. We are all part of the problem.

I. O. W. A. !!!

Cannot wait for college football... lets go Hawks!

3Sixteen Fall/Winter Lookbook

I know, I know...I'm a 3Sixteen fanboy and proud of it, but seriously look at this styling and essence of a brand. A.) That toggle above with the shooting details is amazing. B.) Their look model has badass style and presence. C.) The photos are dope! D.) Their collections are so easily mixed and matched to create varying attitudes and looks that I could easily wear the collection everyday effortlessly.

Apolis Activism Fall/Winter

DAMN! So once again Apolis Activism has killed it with their fall/winter collection that just went up for sale today at Context. This jacket is by far my favorite piece; the waxed cotton, the detailed zippers and that patch of leather on the chest is perfect! I am trying to figure out which of my kidneys to part with and then I'm thinking of picking up this Waxed Cotton Bomber along with these Officer Chino's that are an apparent collaboration with Seattle's finest Filson. The color and the attention to detail are again what make these garments! Knowing that the guys behind the label are class acts makes it all that much better when supporting an amazing brand and attaining unique high-quality garments. Don't wait on these... Context, save me a Medium in the jacket and a 30 in the chinos!

American Beauty:

So this is a peak into a location that I grew up in. The majority of my love for Ford muscle cars were shaped by either long discussions with my father and his friends, or in trips to a local car show in one of these classic pieces of art and engineering. Almost every one of these cars were originally purchased from the factory and have remained in original condition or have been restored to probably better than the factory had intended. The Grabber Orange BOSS 429 is probably the rarest and most detailed restoration of any classic muscle car I have ever laid eyes on, and believe me, that's quite a few. Click the engine shot above and look at the engine tags and checkpoint tags that have been meticulously restored and placed exactly where the factory left them for delivery to the dealerships. There is obviously a ton of stories around each of these cars and more than I could ever possibly try to explain. The ridiculous part is that this isn't even all of the collection, so I won't even try. There are currently two Ranchero's being restored and another smaller garage with a Shelby GT350 awaiting it's turn on the rotisserie. Please feel free to ask any specifics and I'll try my best, but the pictures speak for themselves...
