Baldwin Trousers

Just picked up the new Baldwin Collection Trousers and I'm already a huge fan... When I saw Matt wearing the trousers at Market Week, I fell in love with the fit, materials, and all the little details.  My favorite is the unfinished hems (at the bottom of a slim leg, thank god), which for me will never get finished because its perfect for a sloppy or neat fold or roll, and then the actual material, is a perfect weight and softness.  Give Matt or Dan a call at their store or if you are lucky enough to be in KC, stop in and snag a pair.

@marco: you are right, it's really hard to find a well fitting chino here in berlin...
but one good option is the adan chino from velour, available at trüffelschwein and soto... it's almost perfect and available in many colors...

haha... unfortunately there are not so many good german style blogs. but i like your blog and added it to my daily to-read-list!;-)
Soto is definitely a cool store, but i have the impression that it has more potential.

Hey Daniel, we kinda have a comment conversation here haha.
Be happy if you drop me a line on my blog some time. Not comment wise but also "German-good-taste-stay-in-touch"wise.
Do you blog? I thought about going a little more into men fashion with blogging, since I worked in that sector for some years before I started studying. Yet, not really startet.
BUT guess what, yesterday at the Kudamm in Berlin I ran into that new store-in-store thing (forgot the name, shame on me) right in United Colors of Benetton, Tauentzienstr. They had some Chinos for 75€ and they fitted really good. I am gonna get them I think. Material and fitting are great. Maybe THE chino?
cheers

This trousers are becoming more and more popular with the civilian population as well. They are being marketed for every walk of life. They have men's combat trousers for pajama's and sweat pants. Even though they aren't the standard military issue; they are still being used to cater to everyone. They have even marketed combat trousers for infant and toddler clothing as well. These are very cutesy little pieces of clothing! But obviously not meant for the types of conditions that soldiers would be used to.
