The sad part is that its true. Americans have forgotten how to make American clothing. I bet the shoulder on your Oxxford suit has a lot more in common with an 80's Armani than it does with a classic Press or Brooks sack. What's worse is you can't even get classic Press or Brooks at Press or Brooks anymore. Italy's the only one doing it like we used to.
I'm sure you know 10X more than I'll ever know about suiting... but I enjoy my jacket, and I think the company has a tremendous product... granted someone always does it better, in fact I'm prettu sure Rocco is Italian, ha.
There is no Irony, there is an article on a chicago clothing company during a flurry of Italian menswear coverage, seriously guys what is the deal? I know you enjoy and wear Italian suiting... but no where does this post nor Gilt's say anything negitive about Neopolitan tailoring... it has to do with the focus and build up of talks of the same thing over and over... you ever watch ESPN? There are professional sports teams besides the Yankees and Redsox... same shit...
Enzo AGC- next time you're in Chicago I will personally give you a tour and a jacket to try on just to prove that it fits nothing like an 80's Armani. Oh by the way I'm Oxxford's pattern maker

"Not Italy." - Right. That's why they can't construct a real natural shoulder for the life of them.

Oxxford clothing is indeed tremendously well made, with tons of handwork. I'm simply pointing out the irony of the "Not Italy" comment.
