Red Wing at Brooks Brothers Michigan Ave.

Last Friday I swung by the Red Wing trunk show at the Michigan Avenue Brooks Brothers store.  It was nice to see familiar faces and check out the whole FW collection.  The crowd was excited to see something a little different from what they were used to stepping into off the Mag Mile, which is a good thing.  If you're in one of the many towns they are hitting up, stop by and check out the new footwear, it always delivers.

My Grandfather was an amazing man; he passed in his sleep last night.  He raised 8 children, including the most determined, beautiful, and caring woman on earth. I love you Grandpa Kenny and I will see you again. *(I took this the last time I saw him, he looked up, after being awoken by my Mother kissing his forehead and said... hey Ryan.  He hadn't seen me in 6 months and had no idea I was in town. He would always say he missed me a lot and always asked how I was doing up in "the big city")

It makes me extremely excited as a 1) fan of menswear 2) as a photographer 3) as a businessman, that retailers are taking this level of effort to build their brands and really show the customers what they stand for.  This is an amazing collection and just an all-around great idea.  Great work guys, other retailers take note...
