ANON- first off, don't be a pussy. Second, the MRFDM is baggy as hell and is way too expensive for what it is. This is made in America, cone denim, and fits me. I'm not tailoring a $1000 denim jacket. Also he didn't invent the fucking denim peacoat.
What is the purpose of the soak? Is that for shrinking the jacket? That coat looks awesome by the way. Is it warm enough for say an L.A. winter? I'd imagine so. Thanks in advance.
Ruben - soak was half way through, and it was just to get rid of some dirt, and shrink it back up a bit. Mainly for me it was just to make it form back to shape. The wash was good for getting some of the indigo out as before hand it wasn't really showing the white wear (which I wanted) as much. -RP

Looks amazing. Do you have photos of it originally? I'm curious to see a before / after…
Nic - click the link and check out a new one. Thanks, RP
I'm curious if anyone has ever waxed one of these. It would make a really nice alternative to a trench
Hi Ryan. I was wondering about sizing. I'm 6' 3" with a 38' chest, so I was thinking a medium. Does the coat fit pretty slim?
It looks incredible, Ryan!
Good example of something looking a ton better in real life than in the product shot. Beautiful piece.
